Legal compliance
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Business transfers
If Nexus Multimedia is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and your choices.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar storage mechanisms:
- Essential cookies and storage: required for the site to function, including session state and security.
- Referral attribution (localStorage): when you arrive via a referral link such as
?ref=name, we store the source for up to 90 days so credit can be properly attributed. - Analytics: aggregated traffic information about pages visited and engagement.
You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent the site from working but may reset attribution and preferences.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected:
- Lead inquiries that do not become clients: typically retained for up to 36 months, then deleted or anonymized.
- Active client records: retained for the duration of the engagement and as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance (typically up to 7 years).
- Marketing list subscribers: retained until unsubscribe, plus a short suppression period to honor the opt-out.
- Server logs: typically retained 30 to 90 days.
You may request earlier deletion at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls on internal tools, and reputable third-party providers. No internet transmission or electronic storage is 100 percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you specific rights regarding your personal information.
Categories of personal information we collect
In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: name, email, phone, IP address
- Commercial information: services inquired about, business name, role
- Internet activity: pages visited, referrer, browsing patterns on our site
- Geolocation data: approximate location based on IP address
- Inferences: general information about your interests based on pages you viewed
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA, and we do not knowingly process such information.
Sources, purposes, and disclosures
We collect this information directly from you, automatically through your use of the site, and from referral or analytics partners. We use it for the purposes listed in Section 3 and disclose it only as described in Section 4. We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the past 12 months.
Your rights
- Right to know: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the parties we have shared it with.
- Right to delete: request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.

How to exercise your rights
Send your request to info@nexusmultimedia.ai with the subject line "California Privacy Request." Include enough information for us to verify your identity (typically your name, email used on the site, and a description of the request).
We will respond within 45 days. We may extend the response period by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary, with notice to you.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written authorization from you and may verify the agent's identity and authority before processing the request.
Shine the Light
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
Our site and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how to interpret these signals, our site does not currently respond to them. We do, however, honor opt-out requests submitted directly to us as described in Section 8.
11. Third-Party Links
Our site may link to third-party websites, including publication outlets and client sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their policies before submitting information to them.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the site or, where appropriate, by direct contact. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
